Job summary

Williams Racing is seeking a CFD Engineer in its Aerodynamics department to build, sharpen and protect CFD capability used across the team. You will develop new models, refine existing ones and support CFD processes for external, internal and thermal flows, with a focus on correlation to wind tunnel and track data.

You will also write Python and shell tooling for CFD analysis and help track down miscorrelations, guiding bespoke simulations and ensuring repeatable, auditable results within

Qualifications

• Experience setting up, running and interpreting CFD simulations, including geometry preparation, meshing and solver configuration.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a customer-facing role or ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing, refining and running CFD models across external, internal and thermal disciplines.
• Investigating miscorrelations against wind tunnel and track data; root cause analysis.
• Writing Python and shell tooling for CFD analysis and automation.
• Documenting models and methodologies for traceability across the department.
