Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive, problem solving individual who is either looking to pursue a change in career or is looking for a graduate position to join Crawford Forensic Accounting Service (CFAS) on our accountancy training program.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with colleagues from across Crawford both in the UK or further afield, the majority of your time will be spent working in a diverse and specialised team on large and complex loss claims on behalf of insurer clients.

Analysing financial data across a wide range of industry sectors your work may include investigations, quantification of loss, resolving coverage issues and negotiating settlement between insurers and policyholders. In order to do this, your role will include:

  • Financial data analysis and interpretation
  • Financial modelling and forecasting various scenarios after the occurrence of a loss
  • Communicating with different stakeholders to understand and quantify losses
  • Report writing, including preparation of claims calculations with supervision
  • Attending meetings throughout the claim process, which will include collating information and negotiation of a claim

In recognition for your hard work and commitment, we'll support your efforts to achieve an ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountancy qualification with tuition provided by an external training provider and agreed periods of study leave.

Beyond this, further professional development and career progression is available with insurance related qualifications though the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, supported by our own learning and development team.
