The main focus of this role is to assist members of the team with the day-to-day running of client accounts, execution of deals, and preparation of pitch documents.

No prior experience is necessary, but you will need to be a confident individual with a motivated working attitude, a desire to learn, and the ability to quickly build your knowledge and working relationships.

Any exposure to an investment bank, accountancy firm, or corporate finance team would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation of marketing pitch books and related materials using MS Office.
  2. Assist in financial analysis, including generating models for valuation metrics, integrated financial models, sensitivity analysis, and capital/funding structures.
  3. Assist with the production and drafting of shareholder circulars, prospectuses, and information memoranda, as well as other related documentation.
  4. Collate placing confirmations and perform account reconciliations.
  5. Produce transaction files and other client files.
  6. Input information into the CRM system.
  7. Assist with client account day-to-day administration.
  8. Assist with the training of interns.
  9. Develop detailed knowledge of the listed framework of the London Stock Exchange and understand the requirements and interactions with UKLA, AIM Regulation, the Panel on Takeovers & Mergers regarding client issues and continuing obligations (Model Code).
  10. Degree educated – 2:1 or above (preferred).
  11. Be a fast learner with a flexible attitude.
  12. Be proactive and driven.
  13. Pay strong attention to detail.
  14. Be well-organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
  15. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  16. Previous work experience within an investment/stock broking house or similar is desirable.
