Cervical Screening Provider Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active Cervical Screening Provider Lead who will oversee and co-ordinate the quality and effectiveness of the NHS Cervical Screening Programme (NHSCSP) within East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be responsible for maintaining close working relationships between all parts of the Trust's cervical screening activities and stakeholders. You should also ensure close working relationships are maintained with other CSPLs across the screening pathway to provide continuity across the programme.

To act as the centre for communications about the NHS Cervical screening programme; coordinating relevant histology and colposcopy and advising Trust management on cervical screening matters
To ensure that laboratory and colposcopy performance complies with NHS Cervical Screening Programme guidelines and standards and take appropriate action where they do not. This includes ensuring that appropriate links are maintained between general practices, the laboratory and colposcopy clinic/clinics and that suitable, timely treatment is available for women with cervical cytology abnormalities.
To monitor the quality and effectiveness of the services provided by ESNEFT according to NHSCSP standards and guidelines and take appropriate action to address any shortfalls or escalate appropriately.
To ensure that there is a timely collection and submission of data for national mandatory statistical returns and data for routine and ad hoc programme monitoring for NHS England commissioners, SQAS and other organisations.
To review data relating to the service provided by ESNEFT and monitor performance against both nationally and locally agreed standards.
