Job Title: Certified Vocational Nurse

Join us at Centers Health Care as a Certified Vocational Nurse.

We are actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for all shifts at Amsterdam Nursing Home, located in the heart of New York City. Our rates have recently increased, with a base rate of $35.38 plus a 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. Non-union pay is $45/hr. We offer a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time positions and welcome new graduates.

We are now hiring directly into the union.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting required information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vitals and temperature
• Administering medications and injections
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring food and liquid intake and output

Requirements:

• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Valid NY State LPN license
• Good standing with the State Registry
