Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support Maryview Medical Center by preparing sterile instruments and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

The candidate should have an accredited Surgical Technology education, CST/NCCT/NBSTA certification, and perioperative experience; BLS is preferred. The position offers competitive pay, benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology required.
• Must be certified CST, NBSTA or TS-C; NCCT required.
• One year perioperative or related surgical tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team and maintain aseptic technique.
• Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepare and perform surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated.
