For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA):
Eligible candidates are those hired and who accept an offer into a full or part-time CNA position. Bonus amounts are prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation.

Unit Bio:
Known as R9, this unit is a 24-bed acute care medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities. R9 cares for adults with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. The unit features private rooms to promote a healing environment for patients and families. The position involves training with the Float Pool.
Summary:
Under supervision of Registered Nurses, performs service duties and technical tasks such as vital signs and assisting with hygiene and activities of daily living. Duties may vary by area. Consideration of patient needs and behaviors is required.
The CNA II role assists in nursing care under RN supervision, performing direct and indirect care duties.
