Position: Full-time, Day Shift

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts, weekends required

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA):

  1. 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full-time)
  2. 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full-time)

Eligible candidates are those hired (offer accepted) into a full or part-time CNA position. Bonus amounts are prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth employee members are ineligible; former members are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.

Summary:

Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, performs various service duties to provide supervision, companionship, and support to patients. Maintains patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition. Duties may vary by area of assignment.

The Bedside Companion - Acute Care role involves supervision and close observation of selected patients for identified behaviors.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. Relevant experience preferred.
  3. License/Certifications: N/A
