Senior Therapist and Rehabilitation Coach at BetterBody Me

This role is suitable for an energetic multi skilled Massage Therapist and fitness / rehabilitation coach that has a passion for rehabilitation and sports performance. Our client base is diverse and as such the post holder must be confident to prevent, treat and rehabilitate a variety of injuries, in people of varying fitness levels.

At BetterBody Me we take a 360-approach to injury prevention and rehabilitation by working with each client to help them to find the solution to their individual problems. Sports Massage and Rehabilitation Training form our keystone, but we also seek to employ those with additional experience in other practices and therapies so that we can deliver the right combination of complementary therapies, advanced coaching, combined with proven technology to meet each client’s needs.

At BetterBody Me we have ambition to grow and build the business service lines and so are looking for team players who can effectively engage with and push forwards that vision with us.

Responsibilities

§To support the delivery of BBM Values and objectives in collaboration with other team members.

§To deliver an exceptional and effective service to all BBM clients.

§To promote sales and drive business as part of the BBM team.

§To embrace and adopt the BBM 360 approach to massage and rehabilitation.

§To develop and learn alongside the rest of the BBM team.

§To deliver the BBM service lines at another suitable location that meets the needs of the client, such as a sporting event or corporate setting.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the responsibility of the post holder to:

§Maintain their own professional registrations, where applicable.

§To comply with all appropriate Professional Codes of Conduct and to be aware of changes in these.

§To ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest standard, and in accordance with professional best practice, BBM values and ethos. This includes but is not exclusive to the Data Protection Act 2018.

§To, at all times comply with BBM policy and procedures. Including those relating to Health & Safety, Information Governance.

§To keep aware of employee responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.

§To participate in supervision and training, including an annual appraisal.

Qualifications

§Level 4-5 Sports Massage Therapist,

§Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer,

§Level 3 Injury Rehabilitation or

other relevant experience

§Proven ability to work within professional standards

Maintained registration with:

§Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs), and

§The British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers,

or equivalent.
