Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in training. Due to COVID-19 backlogs at test centres, there is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction. Over the past 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is an excellent time to consider becoming a driving instructor.

• Driving industry (HGV, delivery, van, LGV, bus drivers)
• Finance industry (managers, accountants, analysts, supervisors, directors)
• IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
• Health industry (care assistants, managers, trainers, doctors, nurses)
• Education industry (teachers, teaching assistants, admin officers, lecturers)

Full training is provided, conducted locally whenever possible. Our pass rates are well above industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a driving instructor, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years.
2. Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years.
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence.
