Job description

Overview
Responsible for the arranging of and liaising with inspectors. Generation of certification packages for mobilisations and handling and monitoring of all facility and equipment related certification. To work within the Certification team and work closely with the Maintenance Foreman to ensure timely recertification and scheduling of the fleet of equipment. Responsible for uploading and monitoring of the AX Certification module.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with the Maintenance and Mobilisation Departments to establish equipment certification requirements so that the operational demands are met in line with customer requirements.
  2. Checking and inspection of equipment pressure test evidence / charts and associated maintenance and certification documents.
  3. After reviewing above charts/test completions, upload test evidence accordingly in a timely manner. Assign chart number to paper charts where required.
  4. Prepare list of annual calibration dates for main equipment.
  5. Flag any upcoming calibration requirements in advance for all workshop items.
  6. Preparation of certification packs for mobilisation.
  7. Maintain the Certification Register ensuring it is up to date at all times.
  8. Analyse and monitor the chart register.
  9. Input all new hoses into the hose register and allocate numbers.
  10. Allocate new numbers on non-fixed assets for new equipment.
  11. Maintain and update all certification within the maintenance folders.
  12. Monitor lifting requirements on all liftable equipment and liaise with third party providers.
  13. Responsible for the arranging of and liaising with inspectors.
  14. Liaise with third party providers on carrying out due electrical inspections and third party inspections.
  15. Provide advice on certification issues.
  16. Create and update certification for internal testing and maintenance as required by company procedures.
  17. Carry out your duties and responsibilities in accordance with any and all Company Policies, protocols, procedures, risk assessments and systems (including emergency and incident routines) as well as specific site assignment instruction/requirements.

Requirements

Preferred:

  1. PUWER awareness
  2. LOLER awareness
  3. UKCA awareness

Required Experience

Essential:

  1. Must have previous experience working in the Oil and Gas industry.
  2. Basic knowledge of diesel-driven equipment such as Nitrogen Pumps and both triplex & centrifugal pumps.
  3. Experience in handling certification and creating Documentation Packs.
  4. Knowledge and experience on handling IVB inspections.
  5. Sound technical knowledge of ATEX and zone requirements.
  6. Certification background and experience in similar roles.

Preferred:

  1. Previous experience using Microsoft AX / SAP system.
