Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in and conduct ISO certification audits, initially under the guidance of experienced auditors and program managers. As competence is demonstrated, you will take on more responsibility for planning and delivering audits independently.
  • Deliver assessments against standards such as ISO 14001, 45001, 9001, 50001, and others as required.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, outlining audit findings and non-conformities.
  • Participate in client meetings and audit planning sessions to gain exposure to the full audit lifecycle.
  • Learn and apply audit methodologies in line with ISO 17021 and ISO 17029.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure audit activities are well-coordinated and meet quality standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to progress toward becoming a certified lead auditor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability or a related field.
  • Strong interest in ISO standards, auditing, and management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK, Europe, and internationally as needed (up to 75%).

Desired Qualifications

  • Completion of a Lead Auditor training course (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 9001, or similar).
  • Internship or academic experience related to management systems or compliance.
  • Familiarity with relevant ISO standards such as ISO 14001 and 45001.
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Italian.
