A national healthcare provider is seeking a female support worker in Merthyr Tydfil to assist a young man with complex needs. The role requires someone who is compassionate, empathetic, and reliable, with experience in complex care. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and a full UK driving licence. We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Merthyr Tydfil, county Borough.
Our client is a young man in his 20's who has complex needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy and mobility issues. He lives at home with his mum, her partner and the clients dog, enjoys an active social life with his friends and attends church.
Due to the client’s support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs, hold a full UK driving licence and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.
Pay: £14.70 per hour
Hours: Full or part-time - up to 40 per week (12 or 24 hour shifts with sleeping nights, required seven days a week)
