We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Horsham, West Sussex. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to a young individual that is quadriplegic and non verbal. We are looking for someone who is empathetic and patient being able to support him being out in the community.

Working Hours:

Term Time:

Monday – Friday: 15:30 – 20:30

Saturday & Sunday: 09:00 – 19:00

School Holidays:

Monday – Sunday: 08:30 – 20:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
