Job summary

Fiskars Group is recruiting a Factory Operative for the Wedgwood factory in Barlaston, Stoke‑on‑Trent. You will work under the Production Manager to operate ceramic manufacturing processes, focusing on casting and sponging for iconic china and Jasper products.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role, strong dexterity, and good teamwork. The role includes a 38‑hour week with specific start times and a trade test as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Dexterity and an eye for detail.
• Able to communicate effectively and work well in a team.
• Willing to learn additional skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate casting and sponging processes on the Wedgwood line.
• Assist with production tasks as directed by the Production Manager.
• Complete a trade test as part of the recruitment process.
• Maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
