Your Mission

We're looking for an exceptional CEO to lead CVX Ventures through its next phase of expansion, both in existing and new markets. You'll be the driving force behind our mission to build Europe's largest and most active angel investor network - a place where capital meets competence to create extraordinary companies.

As CEO you'll be at the forefront of everything CVX is and will become. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape vision, execute strategy, and hire and inspire teams across borders. You'll set the standard and pace for how we operate and grow, while being ready to relocate temporarily as new markets open.

CVX Ventures is one of Europe's fastest growing venture investors. We empower our partners to invest in hand-picked cases that match their interests, industries, and expertise.

Since 2020 our community has grown to include over 700 members—from angel investors and board members to C-level leaders—who have collectively invested more than DKK 800 million into 100+ companies.

CVX currently consists of 20 ambitious and talented individuals across Copenhagen, London and Oslo.

As our CEO you will:

  • Lead the growth and execution across all CVX markets, existing and new ones
  • Build, manage and inspire high-performing local teams in each market
  • Own the global strategy, from market entry to operational excellence
  • Lead the continuous expansion of our angel investor network across Europe
  • Represent CVX publicly - at events, conferences, and in media - building visibility and trust
  • Be involved in deal flow, investment decisions, and startup ecosystem engagement
  • Drive culture, excellence, and performance across all markets
  • Report directly to the Board.

We ideally see that you are:

  • Someone with 3-7 years of experience with extraordinary hunger to build and lead a business
  • A strong leader with the humility to learn and grow
  • Willing to relocate for a few months as we open new offices
  • Great with people – you connect fast and lead with trust
  • Coming from top-tier consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups
  • Someone with a proven track record of building or scaling commercial operations
  • Passionate about startups, investing, and building ecosystems
  • Unusually driven and ambitious – you want to win at everything you do and bring others with you
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
  • A strategic thinker who doesn't mind getting your hands dirty
  • Someone with a strong sales mindset – and ability to sell yourself, the company, and our vision
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
