Centre Manager

Salary: £30,000 per annum (Full-Time) + Performance related bonus over 12 months £6,000 + Benefits. Salary review after 9 months probationary period.

Hours: Monday – Thursday between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm + One Weekend Day

Are you a proactive leader with a passion for education and operational excellence? Our client, a leading private educational centre in Manchester, is expanding and looking for a dynamic Centre Manager to drive its growth and success. This is a long-term role with opportunity for the right candidate to share ownership.

About Our Client

For over 33 years, our client has been dedicated to helping students excel in grammar school entrance exams, SATs, GCSEs, and A-Levels. With an outstanding pass rate, they create a supportive learning environment where students thrive.

Your Role

As the Centre Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, strategic development, and ensure the smooth running of our client’s centre. You will be responsible for:

  • Centre Operations – Ensuring smooth, efficient tuition delivery and maintaining an engaging learning environment.
  • Team Leadership – Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to maintain high teaching standards.
  • Strategic Growth – Identifying new opportunities to expand and improve their services. Identify prospects and convert to clients through marketing.
  • Parent & Student Engagement – Building strong relationships with parents and motivating students.
  • Financial & Administrative Management – Overseeing budgets, ensuring financial sustainability, and managing centre logistics.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business)
  • 5+ years of administration experience
  • 4+ years of team management experience
  • Project management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of driving business growth
  • Sales and Marketing experience
