About TPS

TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.

What will you be doing?

As Centre Manager, you will lead, manage, and motivate your TPS team to meet and exceed business plans and objectives, ensuring excellent customer service, developing strategic plans, and maintaining all operational processes for a successful TPS Centre.

  • Achieve Centre targets and business objectives
  • Translate overall sales targets into departmental goals and set challenging yet achievable objectives in collaboration with first-line management
  • Motivate, recognize, and incentivize the team
  • Create Personal Development Plans, monitor progress, and provide developmental or corrective support as needed
  • Develop a Manpower Plan and establish a succession plan for your centre
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the business
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through your team
  • Devise and implement sales plans within the identified sales strategy to increase revenues
  • Monitor business performance regularly, identify improvement opportunities, and take corrective actions
  • Analyze market data to understand potential sales opportunities
  • Work towards achieving the business plan and budget, controlling costs within set parameters, including Gross Margin levels
  • Ensure compliance with business standards, processes, financial, legal, and ethical guidelines (including Warranty)
  • Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure overall security of stock and premises
