Job summary

Maggie’s Centres is seeking a Centre Fundraising Manager at the Forth Valley Centre to develop and implement a centre-specific fundraising plan that raises income from the community through a variety of fundraising sources. You will manage the full portfolio of activity and nurture networks with a wider national focus.

The role includes fundraising across income streams—businesses, individuals, community groups, volunteers and media contacts—with occasional UK travel and irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Institute of Fundraising membership desirable.
• At least two years fundraising experience including community and corporate.
• Excellent IT skills and GDPR knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Raise centre income by prospecting new business and nurturing relationships.
• Oversee fundraising portfolio with Scotland lead to meet targets.
• Manage budget with Community Fundraising Lead - Scotland.
• Build robust pipeline of activity to reach income targets.
• Identify new business leads aligning with Maggie's strategy and existing networks.
• Prepare and deliver proposals for funding to partners.
