Job summary

Maggie’s Forth Valley is seeking a Centre Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a centre-specific fundraising plan and raise income from the community through diverse sources.

You will manage networks with a national focus, and fundraise across businesses, individuals, groups, volunteers and media. Some irregular hours and UK travel are required; interviews are on Mon 09 November at Maggie's Forth Valley.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Membership of the Institute of Fundraising is desirable.
• At least two years fundraising experience including community and corporate.
• Excellent IT skills and understanding of data protection and GDPR obligations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Raising centre income through new opportunities and existing relationships.
• Oversee and manage the fundraising portfolio with Scotland lead.
• Manage budget and meet financial targets.
• Build a robust pipeline of activity to reach income targets.
• Identify and develop new business leads to meet targets.
• Prepare and deliver proposals for funding to partners.
