Maggie’s Wirral and Liverpool centres are seeking a Centre Fundraiser on a maternity cover basis. The role supports fundraising aims, helps deliver income targets and builds relationships locally.

You will work with the Centre Fundraising Manager to implement strategy, recruit donors, and manage donor care across both centres. Travel and irregular hours required.

Initially a 12-month contract with potential permanency; interviews on 20 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• At least two years’ work experience with transferable skills.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience of raising funds in a community setting (paid or voluntary).

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and implementing the centre fundraising strategy in Wirral and Liverpool.
• Support centre fundraising initiatives to maximise voluntary income opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support centrally managed fundraising activities locally.
• Monitor and evaluate activity results for reporting purposes.
• Handle cash and banking and receipts in partnership with Maggie's Supporter Care where required.
• Provide excellent supporter care to inspire commitment and loyalty.
