About the role

The post holder will report to the UCL CDT Director, Prof Gareth Williams, and work in close coordination with the CDT Manager at the University of Nottingham. The role involves establishing good working relationships with Divisional and UCL staff, and significant contact with students, staff, and external stakeholders. The post-holder will support CDT operations, provide strategic input, and develop a broad skillset through stakeholder interactions.

This is an open-ended contract with funding until 30 June and offers hybrid working with at least 80% on-site presence. The appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff. About you

The CDT manager will support strategic direction, oversee student lifecycle and finances, and lead communication and event organization. Candidates should have experience in higher education administration, project management, financial management, and a good understanding of doctoral training.
