The Centre Director manages the contractual partnership with the university and leads the team to meet partner expectations for student intake, outcomes, and satisfaction.
About the Role
- Lead the centre by developing and executing a strategy that supports growth through excellent student outcomes, increasing student numbers, and maximizing business opportunities, while ensuring efficient resource use.
- Manage the Senior Centre Leadership Team.
- Oversee teaching quality, academic standards, student outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the centre operates efficiently and profitably.
- Safeguard students and ensure health and safety on site.
- Lead the wider ISC team, ensuring effective and compassionate management.
- Track and develop staff contributions and potential.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Create an environment that attracts, retains, and develops staff.
- Recruit high-caliber staff, ensuring safeguarding and hiring compliance.
- Manage partnership aspects, including liaising with university departments and stakeholders.
- Grow revenue across all products by collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
- Manage and oversee partnership accounts.
- Ensure partnership development plans are on budget and on target.
- Maximize profit and identify new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with business development and product teams for growth.
- Ensure accurate and timely management information for profit and loss.
- Foster a respectful environment for staff and students.
- Maintain high standards for teaching, safeguarding, and student engagement.
- Ensure compliance with external requirements like UKVI, OfS, and safeguarding guidelines.
- Maintain effective curriculum development, assessment, and monitoring.
- Utilize modern learning practices and technology.
- Maintain accurate records and report data as required.
About You
- Bachelor's degree – Essential
- At least 3 years of leadership/management experience in a similar environment.
- Experience in an academic setting, managing complex education programs.
- Budget development and financial management skills.
- Stakeholder engagement and partnership management experience.
- Experience leading teams in a regulated environment ensuring compliance.
