A healthcare provider in London is seeking a Performance and Data Manager to oversee data systems and compliance functions. The role involves managing a team and developing data analysis for reporting, ensuring effective governance and data security. Main purpose of the post holder: The Performance and Data Manager will be responsible for managing a team of data, performance, finance, and compliance functions in support of the Central Surgery Business. They will develop and maintain data systems, ensuring effective data collection, management, security, handling, analysis, and sharing. The role involves leading a team to develop and deliver data analysis for reporting purposes, supporting operational delivery, resource management, business planning, and financial management.
The post-holder will act as the main point of contact for Information Governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory, organizational, and group policies. They will report monthly to the Board of Directors and Operational Management on performance metrics such as QOF, DES, LES, KPIs, and PCN IFF indicators, highlighting areas for investigation to optimize income streams.
They will support the Medical Director, CEO, and Finance Manager in identifying patient cohorts related to population health and health inequalities, analyzing data to support primary care services and wider Integrated Care Area initiatives. The role includes presenting data visually for effective decision-making, managing data collection systems, and supporting the implementation of new IT systems and projects.
The manager will ensure Data Impact Assessments and Data Sharing agreements are in place for contracts and systems, maintaining governance standards. Duties and responsibilities will evolve as needed, given this is a new role.
