Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover a portfolio of central London commercial offices. You'll undertake planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, or fabric disciplines, and support tenant projects in a client-facing capacity.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (where applicable).
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety legislation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Comfortable working across multiple sites throughout Central London.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial office buildings.
• Completing electrical, mechanical, or fabric maintenance depending on your trade background.
• Supporting tenant fit-outs, quoted works, and small project works.
• Maintaining HVAC systems, including AHUs and FCUs.
• Carrying out statutory compliance tasks, including emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, and water treatment checks.
• Completing maintenance reports, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
• Liaising with and supervising specialist subcontractors.
• Providing a professional, client-facing service while building strong relationships with tenants and site management.
• Supporting the wider engineering team across multiple Central London sites.
