Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Central Booking Co-ordinator based at our depot in Ashford, Kent. The successful candidate will beresponsible for ensuring vehicles are booked in efficiently and schedules aremaintained for our Ashford, Aylesham and Sevenoaks depots.

Key responsibilities include: -

  • Set up new vehicle service plans
  • Book regular scheduled maintenance events
  • Ensure reminders for bookings are sent out to customers
  • Check contract expiry dates to make sure the last MOT and main services are done before contract ends
  • Book annual MOTs and maintain MOT register
  • Accurately maintain customer files and customer accounts
  • Liaise with depot managers regarding other maintenance events
  • Update databases with contract and warranty information.
  • Check for any recalls against vehicles and parts availability

Essential Qualities include:-

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and forward plan
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to work unsupervised and under pressure in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferable Qualities include:-

  • Knowledge of DAFcheck and Kerridge
  • Previous motor trade experience
