Job summary

idverde is seeking a Cemeteries Support Officer in Northampton to provide essential administrative support to the Cemeteries Team and help coordinate services across the community. The role is permanent and full-time, working 37 hours per week, with start and finish times between 8am and 5pm.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, experience in administrative coordination, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across email, telephone and in-person.
  • Prior experience in an administrative/coordination role - funeral industry experience highly advantageous.
  • IT literate with great working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ability to pick up new systems.
  • An eye for detail and problem solving capabilities.

  • Provide administrative support to the Cemeteries Team in Northampton.
  • Coordinate and organise cemetery services and operations.
  • Maintain records and communications with stakeholders.

Cemeteries Support Officer

Location: Northampton

Salary: £25,877 / Hourly Rate: £13.45

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday, start and finish times to be agreed between 8am to 5pm

About the role

Join us as a Cemeteries Support Officer and you will get to play an integral part in the provision of high quality burial services across your community. With strong communication and great organisational qualities, you will provide invaluable administrative support to our Cemeteries Team at Northampton, helping to co-ordinate and organise the services our hard working operatives provide.
