Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong cement manufacturing experience and knowledge of cement processes.
• Proven ability to lead operational teams in heavy industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Experience managing contractors, projects and cross-functional activities.
• Track record of delivering operational and business performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Lead and develop a high-performing operational team with coaching and succession planning.
• Manage daily grinding, packing and dispatch activities to meet customer requirements.
• Drive performance, efficiency, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance to plan maintenance activities and shutdowns.
• Manage plant budgets, cost control and expenditure tracking.
• Ensure raw materials and packaging supplies are available for operations.
• Collaborate with quality, logistics, supply chain and commercial teams to optimise performance.
• Support site improvement projects and new product introductions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and contractors.
• Report plant performance and production outcomes to senior management.
