JOB SUMMARY:

Mechanical Fitter - Cementing Equipment Rebuild

We seek a skilled Mechanical Fitter in Dyce to strip, inspect, and assemble Halliburton cement mixing and pumping equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and management standards. The role also involves supporting acceptance testing and assisting with workshop and yard organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip, inspect, and rebuild cement mixing and pumping equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and management procedures.
• Assemble mechanical components accurately.
• Support acceptance testing to meet operational standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Assist with yard and workshop organization.
• Complete tasks under supervision.

Requirements

• Technical School certificate and 1-2 years of mechanical fitting or assembly experience.
• Experience with engines, hydraulics, threading, and control equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret checklists and follow structured processes.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Role Specific Knowledge

• Rigging and overhead/gantry crane experience.
• Forklift license.
