Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a forward-thinking, contemporary, and world-class Higher Education Institution with a vision to redefine the conservatoire for the 21st century. We are at the forefront of music and dance training, providing high-quality specialist education that reflects the collaborative nature of artistic practice and supports lifelong career development for students and professional artists.
Established in 1906 as the first Junior Department of a UK Conservatoire to open its doors to school children on Saturdays, we have since offered opportunities for young people to engage with music through various ensembles and educational programs. Our aim is to foster a lifelong passion for music and support students in reaching their full potential.
We are seeking candidates to join our department at King Charles Court, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. Successful candidates will teach individual students and coach ensembles for Junior Trinity performances and external projects at venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, LSO St Luke’s, and Blackheath Halls.
The role involves a minimum of 3 hours of teaching per week on Saturdays, for 30 weeks per year. Some positions may involve up to 8 hours per week, depending on student numbers and scheduling for the academic year 2025/26.
*All Trinity Laban hourly rates are inclusive of holiday pay and are based on role evaluation. Hours will depend on the needs of the Conservatoire and student enrollment.
As these positions involve working with children and young people, an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check will be required.
We are committed to equal opportunities and encourage applications from qualified candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
