Cell Leader

Are you an experienced production leader who thrives in a hands-on role? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing excellence and team leadership to step into a Cell Leader position within a well-established manufacturing business.

This role would suit someone with experience in a fast-paced production or engineering environment who enjoys leading from the front and inspiring their team to deliver high performance.

A little bit about the role:

Coach and develop team members to become multi-skilled and adaptable.
Maintain housekeeping standards using the 5S methodology.
Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Monitor time and attendance, managing overtime and resource budgets effectively.
Support investigations and HR processes in line with company policy.
Coordinate and oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Promote a clean, safe working environment in line with internal safety programmes.
Allocate labour and manage resources to meet production targets and deadlines.
Monitor KPIs, report variances, and drive improvement across the production team.
Ideal Candidate:

Familiar with Health and Safety regulations in a production environment.
Able to motivate teams, manage performance, and support employee development.
Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure.
Proven experience in a production or team leader role within manufacturing or engineering.
Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
A positive and proactive approach to safety and quality.
Strong communication and team-building skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
