Gap Personnel Exeter is recruiting for a Cell Lead to oversee the day-to-day running of a production cell on the outskirts of Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter. You will lead a team, guide training, and ensure safety, quality and productivity across aerospace, marine and automotive components.

The role involves instructing and supporting operatives, maintaining work instructions, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a positive team environment.

Formación

• Previous experience within a production, manufacturing or factory environment is preferable.
• Previous team-leading or supervisory experience would be advantageous.
• A keen eye for detail with good mechanical knowledge and an interest in production.
• Confident supporting and guiding colleagues and helping others develop their skills.

Responsabilidades

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running and organisation of your production cell.
• Support and lead a team of Production Operatives to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Provide guidance, support, and assistance to team members throughout the production process.
• Assist with the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Perform assembly operations by following work instructions to manufacture motorsport components.
• Perform test operations in accordance with work instructions.
• Ensure finished products are packaged and labelled correctly and moved to the dispatch area.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure products meet specifications.
• Help identify and resolve production issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, tidy work area and promote a positive working environment.
• Carry out other reasonable requests from leadership.

Temp to Perm Opportunity

gap personnel Exeter are currently recruiting for a Cell Lead for a temp to perm opportunity based on the outskirts of Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter.

You will be joining a team that supplies products into the aerospace, marine and automotive industries. Reporting directly to the Production Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your allocated production cell, supporting and guiding the team, assisting with training, and ensuring production, quality and health & safety standards are maintained.

As a Cell Lead, your duties will include:

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running and organisation of your production cell.
• Supporting and leading a team of Production Operatives to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Providing guidance, support, and assistance to team members throughout the production process.
• Assisting with the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Performing assembly operations by following work instructions to manufacture motorsport components.
• Performing test operations in accordance with work instructions.

• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests from the Production Team Leader or Supervisor.

About You:

Working Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday, 06:00am – 2:00pm
• £15.35 per hour
