Job summary

Revvity is seeking a Lab and Automation Technician to join the Cell Based Screening team in Cambridge. The role covers operating automated platforms, maintaining systems, and supporting cell line engineering projects in a fast-paced lab.

The position requires hands-on experience with lab automation, cell culture, and molecular biology workflows, with attention to detail and strong data integrity. Training will be provided, with a day/evening rota to support operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with lab automation and robotic platforms
• Familiarity with mammalian cell culture techniques
• Basic understanding of PCR and sample preparation
• Strong documentation and data integrity skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and support automated platforms used in high-throughput screening
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot screening technologies
• Contribute to development and improvement of automation workflows
• Culture, maintain and prepare cell lines for screening and engineering activities
• Manage reagents, consumables, stocks and sample handling
• Document activities in line with data integrity and quality systems
• Collaborate with scientists and operations teams to meet milestones
