We are currently seeking a Ceded Re Technician based in London on a full-time basis, reporting to the Ceded Re Insurance Recoveries Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with quarterly Reinsurance close processes following Syndicate’s Procedures Manual (Lloyd’s & Munich)
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (Lloyd’s, Munich Re, FCA/PRA)
• Participate in RI/Claims/Underwriting and broker meetings/discussions as needed
• Gather recovery statistics upon request
• Assist in calculating and advising on premium adjustments
• Maintain written records of substantive conversations with brokers and other parties, in accordance with procedures
• Prepare information for insurers’ and internal audits as required
• Follow and maintain company procedures and systems in line with compliance manuals
• Support Reinsurance credit control related to Claim Recoveries
• Promote good Conduct to deliver optimal outcomes for customers and policyholders
