Job Title: CE&I Electrical Engineer – Power & Protection

Profession: CE&I Design

Location: Hybrid (Remote/Warrington)

The vacancy is for a power systems design engineer within the Client’s CE&I design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating the project’s ETAP model, producing fault calculations, protection reports, and arc flash risk assessments. The candidate will provide power and protection expertise support to the wider design team and contribute to updating Client’s engineering standards and best practices.

Essential Skills:

• Working knowledge of BS EN 60909 Fault Calculations
• Working knowledge of ETAP modelling software
• Experience with Protection and control systems (11kV & 400V)
• Experience of 11kV & 400V substation design

Desirable Skills:

• Experience of Design Processes
• Experience with other CAD tools such as Trimble, ERACs, and Digsilent
• Experience with IEC61850 and power system SCADAs
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership in the relevant discipline
