Job summary

XPO Logistics is seeking Class 1 Drivers to join our Leicester depot on fixed shift patterns with both full-time and part-time opportunities. You will work PM shifts with guaranteed hours, in a state-of-the-art fleet, delivering palletised ambient products to stores and distribution centres, with some weekend work and CPC training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Category C+E driving experience required.
• A maximum of no more than 6 points on your license.
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No DD, DR points on your license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised ambient products direct to stores and Distribution Centres; inter-depot trunking.
• Operate curtain sider and box trailers.
• Fixed start time window between 1800 and 0600 with weekend work.
• Runs vary from 1–4 drops per shift.

We are currently hiring Class 1 Drivers and have full time and part time opportunities available. You will be working PM shifts out of our Leicester depot on various fixed shift patterns. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £17.50 for nights, £18.50 for Saturdays and £19.50 for Sundays, paid monthly. Weekly hours on a full-time contract are based on a 45-hour working pattern. What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• You will have a fixed start time between 1800 to 0600 - fixed start time window (1 hour before or after base time) there is an element of weekend working
• Part time contracts available on Thursday – Sunday Shifts
• You will be delivering palletised ambient products direct to stores and Distribution Centres as well as inter depot trunking.
• Operating curtain sider and box trailers
• Runs vary from 1-4 drops her shift

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
