Job description

Shirley Parsons is exclusively partnered with a leading waste company, seeking a CDM Safety Advisor for their construction division. This division focuses on large frameworks within the public and commercial sectors, involving a range of operations.

Our client is looking for candidates with strong CDM knowledge and understanding. Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be able to work onsite 4/5 days a week and be available for overnight stays.

The CDM Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring safety responsibilities for all contractors, operators, and members of the public on and around construction sites
2. Monitoring site performance to identify where additional support or actions are required, and escalating concerns to the Health and Safety Manager
3. Supporting the Safety Team with communication on good practices and lessons learned, such as developing safety alerts and monthly safety updates
4. Assisting with CDM regulations and providing advice

The CDM Safety Advisor will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate at minimum
• CDM knowledge and practical experience
