UK Atomic Energy Authority invites applications for a CDM Manager based at Culham, Oxfordshire. The role provides strategic leadership for CDM and Building Safety Act compliance across UKAEA, shaping governance, risk management, and assurance frameworks to enable safe delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Onsite three days per week with flexible working options. Essential: Level 6 qualification in Occupational Safety and Health; desirable NEBOSH Construction Certificate; extensive CDM
The salary for this role is £64,115. Onsite working is expected for 3days each week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working.
This role can be based at any of the following sites; Culham, Oxfordshire
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.

As CDM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership for the application of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) and the Building Safety Act across UKAEA. You will shape governance and assurance frameworks, provide expert guidance on complex infrastructure and engineering programmes, and ensure health, safety, and legal compliance are embedded throughout project delivery. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will influence organisational strategy, drive best practice, and help enable the safe delivery of the facilities that support the future of fusion energy.
