CDM Health & Safety Consultant
Swansea, occasional site travel across the Southwest
£40,000 - £57,000 + Bonus + Private Healthcare + Mileage + Hybrid + Training + Progression to Director

This growing consultancy operates across South Wales and the Southwest of England, offering specialist health and safety advice within the construction industry. They provide a variety of services, including in-depth health and safety guidance, principal designer and CDM advisory services, and business compliance support. These services are offered to a range of clients across multiple sectors. With a strong focus on quality service, they have continued to achieve consistent success. In this role, you will take on multiple responsibilities, acting as either the Principal Designer or CDM Advisor. You will manage your own projects, overseeing and preparing pre-construction information. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans, providing expert advice on their suitability. You will also liaise with design teams, client teams, and principal contractors, attending meetings to ensure projects are delivered according to client specifications. Furthermore, you will be required to visit sites occasionally, both before and during construction, to conduct risk appraisals and ensure CDM compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong health and safety and CDM knowledge, enabling them to provide detailed professional advice to clients. A full UK driving license is essential to facilitate site visits when required.
