With a reputation for excellence, we operate mainly within the North West but have projects across the UK, delivering safe and value-added project solutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a CDM / H&S Professional at Aegis Services Limited, located in Barrow-In-Furness working within BAE Systems Site & Facilities Team. The CDM / H&S Professional will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, review designs throughout the associated RIBA Stage, preparing Pre-Construction Information, reviewing risk assessments, and providing health and safety advice. Tasks include preparing documentation, design reviews, attending client meetings, carrying out site inspections, and liaising with project stakeholders to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions.

• Experience with undertaking the CDM Principal Designer Role
• Experience with CDM regulations, design reviews and health & safety advisory roles
• Strong knowledge of construction and demolition practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
• Ability to conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive safety documentation
• Proficiency in using relevant software for reporting and documentation
• NEBOSH Certificate and Construction Certificate or equivalent qualifications in health and safety
• Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., IOSH, APS) is advantageous
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
