Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Commercial Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks with front or rear end load lift attachments. You will handle container pick-ups, ensure proper loading, and navigate urban environments with skillful backing maneuvers.

The role requires strict adherence to safety and DOT rules, completing vehicle inspections, and maintaining clear communication with Dispatch. You will contribute to route efficiency while keeping work areas clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL within the last 7 years.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check completed.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy-duty vehicle following safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks.
• Reports unsafe situations to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends training programs and meetings as required.
• Works with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Notifies management of incidents, service interruptions, or hazards.
• Ensures containers are dumped properly and sites are left clean.
• Completes tickets when excess yardage is removed.
• Positions containers to ensure lids are secured and driveways are clear.
• Follows route assignments and completes end-of-day documentation.
