Job Description

My client is a leading provider of CCTV Security solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced installation engineer who takes pride in his work. The ideal candidate will have experience in CCTV installation & maintenance and will be familiar with HIK Vision and AJAX camera systems. You must be customer focused and prepared to deliver service excellence.

Ideally, you will also have a deep knowledge of system software packages and hardware installs. My client is considerate of their employees and installations are generally arranged Tuesday - Thursday, to ensure you can work from home or visit their office in Leeds to collect stock on Mondays or Fridays.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform new installations, test and maintain CCTV camera systems.
2. Be capable of managing server based platforms (NVR’s/ Windows OS).
3. Understand IP infrastructure and protocols.
4. Produce quality workmanship and highest standards of finish.
5. Carry out maintenance checks of all site systems.
6. PC literate to install and update networks.
7. Maintain company equipment (including vehicle) in excellent condition.

About You:

1. Min 3 years experience in a similar role.
2. Valid driving licence.
3. Flexibility to travel (average 3 nights away per month).
4. Have a “fix the problem attitude.”
