Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a CCTV Drainage Operative in Preston to inspect drainage systems with CCTV from a survey van and report findings using digital systems. Strong health and safety focus and professionalism when interacting with customers are essential.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, salary £16.00 per hour. A full UK driving licence and good IT skills are required for this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with a clean record and up to 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work effectively in a two-person team to deliver work safely and efficiently.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and digital reporting systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when recording survey findings and completing documentation.
• Confident using tablets, computers and other tech to capture survey data and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess drainage systems using specialist CCTV equipment from a survey van.
• Record and report findings accurately using digital systems for clients.
• Maintain health and safety standards and interact professionally with customers and the public.
• Work as part of a two-person team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of work.
• Capture data and complete documentation with clear digital records.
