CCTV Drainage Engineer

We operate 24/7; therefore, you will need to work flexible hours, including weekends and participate in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE, and company equipment will be provided to ensure all drainage engineers are equipped to perform to our high standards, regardless of background or experience.

Position Details

• Position: CCTV Drainage Engineer (Special Projects Division)
• Location: Swindon Treatment Works, Swindon, Wiltshire
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours, plus every other weekend
• Salary: £32,000 per annum (including basic pay, night premium, overtime, and bonuses)

About the Role

Due to growth, we seek customer-focused individuals to join our Utility Division, working on Thames Water contracts to resolve wastewater network and drainage issues.

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person crew across Thames Valley, using high-tech vans
• Survey drainage networks
• Assess pipe conditions and produce detailed reports using advanced drain surveying equipment
• Ensure timely job completion
• Troubleshoot on-site problems
• Coordinate with Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment
• Maintain safe site setup
• Update job notes on VISTEC
• Take photos of setups, inspection chambers, and entire sites
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Follow health and safety practices
• Adhere to Lanes Group policies and responsibilities
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned
