Job summary

Quest Waste Management in Wakefield is seeking an experienced CCTV Drainage Engineer with OS19 qualification to join our expanding team. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, analyse pipe conditions, and produce high‑quality reports for planned and reactive work.

You may work alone or with colleagues, overseeing your own CCTV van unit, ensuring the unit is maintained and works are completed as directed. This role is night-shift based.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (not more than 3 points).
• Basic computer literacy (including use of internet and email).
• Up to date CSCS card.
• Confined spaces certification.
• High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate.
• Streetworks Card NRWSA (desirable).
• OS19 or equivalent.
• Haddams (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, alone or with a team.
• Analyse pipe conditions using surveying equipment and produce high‑quality reports.
• Capture and record information accurately for planned and reactive works.
• Allocate and maintain your CCTV van unit and execute works as directed.

We are currently recruiting an experienced CCTV Drainage Engineers with OS19 qualification or equivalent. We operate a modern, expanding fleet of CCTV vans equipped with the latest technology. A strong customer focus, positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Working on your own or as part of a team to carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, analysing pipe conditions with state‑of‑the‑art surveying equipment to produce high‑quality reports in both pre‑planned and reactive settings. Ensuring all information is captured and recorded correctly and further works ordered correctly. Allocated your own CCTV van unit, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the unit and the execution of works as directed.

The role will be nights based.

Qualifications And Training

• Working with main line CCTV cameras
• WINCAN v7/v8
• Working on groundworks sites with design and construction teams
• CAT Scanning to trace/locate the drainage system using sonde
• Experience in High Pressure Water Jetting
• Working on Public Highways

£19.00 per hour
