Your New Job
Working from one of our custom-equipped CCTV vans, you will visit various clients - commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. - across the UK. Your responsibilities include conducting CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assessing pipe conditions, analyzing results, and producing high-quality reports. You will also operate Jetting Units when required, ensuring all site activities are performed safely and efficiently, and that work is completed within the designated timescale.
What you will do
- Manage site staff and oversee all associated site activities in collaboration with the Project Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Quality, and Environment standards.
- Adhere to company policies at all times.
- Report all site-related incidents promptly.
- Work closely with the Project Supervisor to ensure work is pre-sited and pre-planned as needed.
- Identify and resolve problems swiftly to prevent escalation.
- Be responsible for all Jetting & CCTV work conducted on site.
- Produce high-quality results, reports, and provide feedback.
- Establish good communication and relationships, resolving issues early to prevent potential problems.
- Be flexible, as the role requires early starts, weekend work, and out-of-hours operations across the UK.
What skills you bring
- Proven experience within the Utilities Sector, preferably in the Drainage Industry.
- Experience in customer service or a customer-focused environment.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with good verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Knowledge of waste network operations business processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Qualifications and memberships include:
- Experience and/or qualifications in Utilities and/or Drainage Industry.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- OS19X to current MSCC5 standards.
- NRSWA Streetworks.
- Confined space level 2 or above.
- High-pressure water jetting.
- Manual Handling & First Aid at Work.
- CSCS & Fit to Work.
- Experience with CCTV equipment such as MiniCam Proteus, Ipec VC200, and Rover Kit.
- Personal Track Safety (PTS).
- Water Hygiene & Reverse Assist.
- HGV qualification.
