Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Monitoring Operator to join our Control Room team, overseeing the performance of our clients’ solar farms. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the health and availability of renewable energy assets, acting as the first point of contact for faults, outages, and on-site coordination.

This is a fast-paced and varied position that involves weekend and night work as part of a fixed rota — ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and working with data in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor a portfolio of solar sites throughout the day to identify and log performance issues or faults.
  • Create work orders and communicate incidents to the wider team.
  • Keep the team updated on outages, site events, and engineering works.
  • Liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate site access and progress updates.
  • Monitor site security and take appropriate action when required.
  • Answer incoming calls and support general office administration.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
