Job description

Job Title: Fire and Security Technician

Location: South Wales, Chepstow

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £37,726.83 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts

Working Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week

To be the technical specialist for designated stores responsible for undertaking first call response to Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, Automatic Pedestrian Gates.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPI's set by the customer including, but not limited to response, repair, first fix, and closure.
  2. To ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
  3. To complete the PPM works within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures and satisfactory standards.
Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
  1. GCSE standard
  2. Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
  3. Fire alarm systems experience
The ideal candidate
  1. Experience with CCTV IP/analogue systems
  2. Current driving licence
  3. IPAF license holder
  4. Willingness to work flexible hours
