Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a CCO Control Centre Assistant to join our team in Staffordshire.

Main Duties:

  • Assist with all aspects of the Control Centre operations, including call handling for bookings, control, planning escalations, crew calls, and team management.
  • Receive requests for patient transport and ambulance journey inquiries accurately and politely, ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Perform clerical duties such as checking booking lists, data entry, and completing forms/invoices.
  • Support controlling and planning teams to dispatch operational crews efficiently, ensuring timely patient transport and meeting contractual targets.
  • Maintain high service quality and performance standards.
  • Handle telephone communications professionally, liaising with GPs, nursing homes, hospital clinics, and wards.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow across control areas through effective communication and prompt problem resolution.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills gained from customer or public interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Good organizational skills.

This role is subject to regulatory pre-employment checks. You may need to provide detailed employment history, with HMRC records available via Government Gateway to assist in preparation.
