A regional mental health service provider is seeking an experienced CBT therapist to join its Mental Health in Schools Team. This role involves delivering evidence-based therapy, coordinating care for children and families, and providing supervision to clinicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for early intervention and experience in managing a caseload. The position offers ongoing training opportunities and extensive staff wellbeing support.
We have an exciting, innovative, and specialist role within our RISE Early Help Service. The role will be based within our Mental Health in Schools Team, which was part of a successful trailblazer program stemming from the green paper in 2017.
We are looking for an experienced CBT therapist with a passion for early intervention and prevention to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will receive regular supervision, annual appraisals, and access to training opportunities within the Trust, universities, and local authorities. We are part of the CYP IAPT initiative, offering further study such as postgraduate certificates in low/high intensity CBT supervision and leadership courses.
We offer extensive staff wellbeing support, including counselling, Employee Assistance Programmes, mindfulness sessions, flexible working options, and support for working carers.
