Job description

We have an exciting, innovative, and specialist role within our RISE Early Help Service. The role will be based within our Mental Health in Schools Team, which was part of a successful trailblazer program stemming from the green paper in 2017.

We are looking for an experienced CBT therapist with a passion for early intervention and prevention to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy within the North Warwickshire Mental Health in Schools Team.
  2. Provide CBT supervision and support to clinicians within your team.
  3. Manage a caseload and coordinate care for children, young people, and families. Assess referrals, and plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
  4. Liaise with internal and external professionals, contribute to Multi-Disciplinary meetings, and support other professionals through guidance and consultation.
  5. Work within the MHST Leadership team to develop the service, including offering CPD sessions, supporting group work, and consultations.
  6. Travel independently as required (hold a full UK driving license and access to a car).

Successful candidates will receive regular supervision, annual appraisals, and access to training opportunities within the Trust, universities, and local authorities. We are part of the CYP IAPT initiative, offering further study such as postgraduate certificates in low/high intensity CBT supervision and leadership courses.
